Feels like just yesterday we were fighting for the Stanley Cup in Game 7! The offseason has since come and past, and now it’s time to celebrate the 2015-16 season kicking off. The Lightning did just that this past weekend, with a whole weekend of festivities for Fan Fest including the kickoff party “Friday Night Lightning Live.” Set up in the Ford Thunder Alley, the air was filled with music provided by several local area bands including Tribal Style, Zulu Wave, and UNRB. In between their sweat inducing sets Lightning Djs Casper and LeSage kept the energy going with a four turntable showcase. There was also a great line up of food trucks providing  for the appetite built up from all the dancing. As if, this wasn’t enough the fans were also welcomed by live art from Pep Rally Inc. Painting a live mural of the Lightning Logo. One of the very players whose likeness dons the Thunder Alley on one of the banners, Anton Stralman was on hand to help to give away an autographed jersey alongside help from Lightning host Greg Wolf. Fun was had by all, and if this is just a preview of the events we can expect form the Bolts organization then we are in for a entertaining season ahead!
